Abstract

Grafting of uvalha, by whip or tongue, cleft and kerf methods were done on seedlings plants of the same specie and resulted in 56.7; 45.5 and 52.2% of takes respectively. There were not differences among the methods and the general average was 51 of success. The scion plastic coverage was taken off after 90 days, and this premature action resulted in 14.3% of losses.
