This text aims to reflect on the process of inversion of the logics of research in anthropology, a process by the "others" begin to play the role of researchers. I will do this through first-person reports, based on some research experiences in quilombola communities in the paraense amazon, where the naturalization of the "anthropology of whites" caused some residents to treat me as a white researcher when I am black. This fact did me reflect on affirmative action, representation, institutional racism and the urgent need to blacken university places.
