Abstract

Francisco Whitaker, Fórum Social Mundial (World Social Forum) co-founder, tells us about the event trajectory, directions
and importance, after ten years of existence, in the social and political world organization. He also traces parallels among the actions of several public participants belonging to the Forum – social movement militants, students, educators and others – and the repercussion of the event activities in the educational and governmental area.
