This article is the complete study of the presentation held at the 2nd Congress of History of Science and Technique: Contemporary Challenges. Historical archives have a key role in the development and article of historical research. The use of technological tools and the work of retrieving collections of primary documentation are examples of contemporary research challenges. The objective of this work is to present and describe the insertion of the documentary set “O Patologico” under the collection of the Center of Memory and Archive of FCM-Unicamp, with the Central Archive of Unicamp and College Library partnership. This partnership brought the ability to provide the scanned documents of the whole set in searchable PDF/A, in digital preservation format - this type promotes better and faster document’s access for the user.
