The knowledge of the archive’s host institutions history is essential to its activation. It was aiming to give the capacity for the boverian School archives to serve for historians and other researches work that we developed our study. Therefore, thinking about the trajectory of the actors and scenarios, that concern to the theme we proposed, under the light of the archivist methods and questions, we were able to give the first steps toward the effective archivist operation at the host institutions – Human Anatomy Museum from the ICB-USP (MAH) and the Surgery Department from the FMVZ-USP (VCI) – that keeps the trace elements material of the boverian School. It’s known that we’re just starting to have contact with this vast material, but It’s already possible to state that the minimum archivist treatment and processual knowledge exist at the host institutions to give support for researches who concern to these material.
