In this chronicle, Lucas Galon presents some reflections and impressions about one of the last times Olivier Toni came to the Music Department of Ribeirão Preto as a professor, already an octogenarian, in which the metaphysical aspect of his speech is evidenced, as well as the conflict of generations, his critical spirit, irony, and peculiar modernity.
