Abstract

The distance between the torus pyloricus and the papilla duodeni major as well as the distance between the latter and the papilla duodeni minor were obtained from 55 intestines of adult dogs (40 males and 15 females). Results shown the following means: 3,83cm (5,1 cm — 2,2cm) and 3,28cm (7,2cm — 1,6cm) no difference were found between male and female data (p < 0 ,0 5 " t " test).
