The book TPA e outras histórias was written by Augusto Manuel dos Santos, known as Nguxi dos Santos, who has more than 30 years of career in Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA) and in Forças Armadas Populares de Libertação de Angola (FAPLA). Notoriously memorialistic and targetting the general public, the book includes testimonies from various protagonists who worked at the TPA and constitutes a mosaic that honors the institution and the work of Nguxi dos Santos in Angola. This review proposes some means for interpreting the work, such as its general structure, its main features and certain tensions that go beyond the celebratory purpose of the book.
