Abstract

The goal of this paper is to highlight various concepts and classifications of the image and to analyse its presence in the contemporary mediatic uni verse. In the second part, this work intends to research the roots of the image in the pre-history o f mankind and to study its association with the phenomenon o f magic and religion.
