An analysis of growth of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)

Growth of eggplant was studied. 14 plants were taken from a plantation of 9.926 plants/ha and submitted of growth analysis, according to Williams and Blackman & Wilson methods. Eggplants grow slowly during a first phase, rapidly 42 days after transplanting. Photosynthesys activity varied according to age of the plants, being maximum around 28 days after transplanting.Downloads
