Abstract

The adsorption of boron (from boric acid) by fifteen soil samples increased with the equilibrium aqueous phase boron concentration at constant soil pH and increased also, with the soil pH, at constant boron concentration of the equilibrium solution. The data obtained showed to fit to the linear form of the Freundlich adsorption equation and the relationship between log x/m and log c and or pH was linear.
