Abstract

An experiment about herbicide use on cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) crop was conducted in the Experimental Field of Horticulture Section DAH-ESALQ, Piracicaba, Brazil. It was tested Dacthal (DCPA), Tenoran (chloroxuron), Afalon (linuron) and Ramrod (propaehlor). Dacthal and Ramrod were not toxic to cabbage, Tenoran was slightly toxic, and Afalon, very toxic. An unic application of herbicide was not enough to control weeds until harvesting.
