The “Coromandel ” Diamond

The “Coromandel” diamond proceeds from the city of Coromandel, source of other large and well-known brazilians diamonds. It presents octaedric “habitus” with two natural and five clivage faces. It also shows a cube face. Dimensions according to the cristallographic axis, are: 53,00 mm; 39,00 mm; 26,60 mm. Weight: 400,65 metrics carats, a little less than Premier 5.° (South Africa) Color extremely-slight, without flairs which could decrease its value.
