The study of the family Connaraceae is a part of the project of"Flora of Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brasil". In that area, the family is represented by the genus Rourea, with two species. Although neither found in the field work nor in the herbaria with representative collections from Serra do Cipó, the genus Connarus was included in the key to the genera, given the high probability of C. suberosus to be found there. Keys to the genera and species, descriptions and illustrations, as well as comments on the geographic distribution, phenology and variability of the species are presented.Downloads
