Ethics

Open Access Policy
Cadernos de Campo adopts a policy of open access and allows the total or partial reproduction of works, which can be consulted, distributed and reproduced as long as the source is mentioned. Forms of use for commercial purposes or that incorporate derivative works will not be accepted.

Declaration of Ethics and Research Evaluation
The journal is a signatory to the San Francisco Declaration on Research Evaluation (DORA), and also to the Code of Ethics of the Brazilian Association of Anthropology.

Good scientific practices
The cases of bad practice will be examined and decided by the Editorial Committee following the Basic Guidelines for Integrity in Scientific Activity of the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development -CNPq, and the Code of Good Practice of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo -FAPESP. Authors and authors are also expected to observe the principles of research ethics in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Brazilian Association of Anthropology.

The opinions expressed in signed articles and the integrity of the content of the articles are the absolute responsibility of their authors.

Plagiarism and self-plagiarism policy
In line with advances in the field of ethics and good scientific practices, all articles approved in the first stage will be tested for plagiarism and “self-plagiarism” or republishing (publication as unpublished material of previously published texts). The works will be submitted to preliminary analysis in plagiarism verification programs and in cases where the similarity rate is equal to or greater than 30%, the works will be rejected.

Authorship
Cadernos de Campo considers an author or authors to be people  who participated as an intellectual in its conception and contributed directly to its development. The process of guidance, data collection or application of any technique at any stage of the process is not enough for a collaborator to figure as an author or author.

Interest conflicts
The journal requests that the authors or authors and reviewers declare any commercial or professional relationship that may characterize a conflict of interest during the handling of the texts.
