Would it have some elective affinity between Brazilian Culture and Religion? This article sketches an answer based on a relationship between the question of the culture and that one of the religion, and, on the other hand, on the evidence of some specificities in the history of the Brazilian social formation. Finally, it discusses the Catholicism in Brazil and the subject of syncretism.Downloads
