This paper, using the methodological tools of oral history, presents stories and perceptions of eleven women migrated from Guayaquil (Ecuador) to Genoa and from their relatives in their home country. Through the narration of personal experiences it is shaped the context in which the migration from Ecuador to Italy occurs, from the moment of departure to the possible comeback or the definitive settlement in the new country.Downloads
