Old age and tourism: actuality and perspectives of non-formal patrimonial education in historic farms of São Paulo

The research aimed to investigate and analyze the ways how the São Paulo historical rural properties of São Paulo worries in providimg activities for the leisure of elderly people. The Oral History method was used for gathering information about the immaterial heritage and collect the demands of the elderly public. The collect of testimonials was accompanied by the execution of a field diary in association with a photographic register of the educational and tourist activities, as observed in two selected farms. The bibliography about gerontology directed our attention during the field research, because it states and the research confirms that the social relationships influence health throughout life. The provision of mass tourism for this age group and spaces of heritage farms proves unwise, both for the public to be satisfied whose demands will not be attend]ted, and for the tourist areas be explore, which could be worn in their out rural cultural heritage.Downloads
