Abstract

This study analyzes how young graduates of socio-educational measures in Campinas comprise the Ateliê Escola - Convivência e Arte, Project of the Center for Education and Popular Advice, based on Freirean principles for their formation, situating this experience in the context of public policies and debate on the vulnerability of the youth of the working classes. The analysis is based on the discussion of the culture of inhabiting and the distinction of political-educational projects based on the concepts of non-school education and non-formal education. Developed between 2011-2015, approved by public announcements of Petrobras (2010, 2012), the work motivated the team to deepen their reflection for the Ateliê School to follow in 2016 with the complex socioassistencial network involved. The research took place at CEDAP and with meetings with the management team of Ateliê Escola. The methodology was built with documentary, bibliographical studies and oral history interviews for a reflection on the world view of young graduates who fulfilled the socio-educational measures of the Casa Foundation. The goal is to analyze the interviews, emphasizing the severity of living conditions since well before the conflict with the law. And yet, as the young people formed in their daily lives the relationship with the art education of the Ateliê School revealing (self) discoveries, resignifying their life histories, individual and family.
