Abstract

The objective was to analyze pensions and pensions in the production/social reproduction of residents of the Reage Brasil Settlement, municipality of Bebedouro/SP, identifying the contradictions between the legally prescribed and the realized about the rights of the special insured, besides observing the evolution of this space. Structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were applied to 57 people from the 42 lots receiving social security benefits, of which 10 were interviewed with settlers who did not have benefits; In addition to consulting the secondary data of the ITESP Foundation. The funds received are used to purchase food, agricultural inputs, clothing and medicines, to renovate the house, to travel and to make consigned loans. Most of the benefits were obtained by judicial means; Besides the influence of agribusiness in the territory by the expressive production of sugarcane in the lots.
