It is denied to think of poetry outside the universal - or of what is translated by - ontology - being the most privileged place of art - Being in the most hidden space. But the anguish ¬ as the denunciation of existence and of the dissatisfaction created by the circumstance describes the Mozambican Literature of the post 2000 period - what I call Existential Poetology. In Sangare Okapi’s “Inventory of Anguishes or Apotheosis of Nothing” he translates this philosophical-literary aesthetic that takes place at the center of the tragic and dramatic view of the human condition, as well as in the contradictions and needs of the country that is called Mozambique.
