Statistics of homeless people in France: stories, methods and results

Abstract

Just when the next French national research on homeless people is being prepared, scheduled for 2012, this article discusses the origin of the first researches on this subject, shows the principles of its method and outlines the main results of the first national survey, held in metropolitan France in January-February 2001.
