The studied period is after the Second World War, especially the decades of 70 and 80. The aim of this text is to explore the complex webs involved with these immigrant´s coming from Africa and Portugal in this period, their insertion in the society of São Paulo and the relationship they set up with the ond and established Portuguese "colony" that lived in São Paulo.
