Abstract

This paper deals with the experience of implementation on the local plan, of the federal government´s professional training politics related to PNQ (National Qualification Plan). A municipality at the Greater São Paulo area was chosen as an object. In the first place, the way the Municipal Employment Committee (tripartie) faces the labour marker will be analyzed. Then, some of the difficulties faced by the Committee, such as under-representation of some sectors, will be approached. In the las place, the way the Committee faces the young workers demanding for jobs will be addressed, and some aspects of their class situation will be drawn as well.
