The current paper analyses the political militancy use in the construction of philosophical spaces in Brazil, in the seventies and eighties. It shows, through the social trajectory reconstitution of a group of philosophers (17), the way social resources were retained during the passage through the political militancy in movements of the left catholic, as the Juventude Secundarista Católica (JEC), Juventude Universitária Católica (JUC) and the Ação Popular (AP), used later on the creation of the philosophy departments in the main national universities, specialized magazines, associations, and post-graduation programs in philosophy, the last ones being the most important places of philosophical production in Brazil.Downloads
