The book A tolice da inteligência brasileira of Jesse Souza puts us to think that the contributions of Brazilian intellectuals and communication in the class struggles, in the reproduction of inequalities and nation projects. For a non-sterile science of communication, it is urgent to incorporate reflections on the Brazilian reality.
