The text puts forward the idea that networks have always been present in the development of the means of communication. However, as from the second half of the twentieth century, a new model of network has become a reality: a network which is exible, multidirectional, interactive, and decentralized. The communication network by computers has become important in formal and non-formal education and has turned into a vehicle for diffusion, connection and information among educators. Therefore, it is vital, now more than ever, that teachers and researchers participate in the network, get to know it, and are able to guide the users on how best to use it themselves. Education for the means of communication will ensure they can use it consciously and critically.Downloads
