Based on the study of the work of the writer and poet Renata Pallottini, the article discusses the inuence of the public on the development of artistic and cultural works, consolidated by the cultural industry. Using her readings of Georges Simenon as a starting point, the author writes a detective novel named Chez Mme. Maigret, in which the main character is the wife of the famous French Police Inspector Jules Maigret. Pallottini brings the character to life and participates in Simenon’s literary universe.Downloads
