Research that aims to analyze the photograph “Fixed explosive” (Man Ray, 1934) from the framework of quantum theory supported by the finding of the “wave-particle duality”. For this, in a first moment, we will approach the construction of “quantum paradigm” during the first decades of the 20th century. In a second moment, we will investigate the consolidated transdisciplinary potentiality through the development of this paradigma. And, in a third moment, we will examine the surrealist image created by Man Ray and seek to explore it according to the thinking constructed by “quantum paradigm” and by transdisciplinarity.
