Abstract

Nicanor Parra (Chile, 1914), who named himself antipoet, nowadays is one of the most important Latin American poets and is undoubtedly the great Chilean poet alive. He receives Cervantes Award in 2011, the most prestigious of the Spanish language. His work is largely influential in Spain American but remains virtually unknown in Brazil due to his precarious insertion in Brazilian publishing market. Most of his antipoems are not yet translated to Portuguese, there are here four of them.
