Abstract

We aim, in this article, to show how the way of the configuration of jewish politic-religious factions, specially the farisees and essenes, raised difficulties to the roman imperial domination in Judea. To reach our main point, we will analize passages of Josefo's books: Jewish War and Jewish Antiquates.
