The field of Ancient History has developed over the last decades in Brazil, which can be perceived by both the number of researchers engaged in studying this particular historical period and the quality of the published material about it. The main aim of this article is to analyze this scholarly publishing data selected from Lattes Platform, which mayallow us to comprehend some important issues about the area itself, such as what has being researched on AncientHistory in Brazil recently.
