Abstract

Law is one of the sciences of complexity and, as such, must be aware of such complexity. In this essay, the author explores this question and suggests methodological modifications regarding legal sciences so that they can deal with social complexity – which must not be taken as a synonym of complication. He demonstrates, as well, which would be the effects of new types of legal analyses for legal sciences, providing many examples in the field of Public and Administrative Law.
