Abstract

In this article we will show the music of the Prudêncio's Folia de Reis. We will point out their singing systems that present an intense vocal formation of voices overlapping. This has at its disposal the textual repertoire of dozens of verses in blocks that six generations of singers are part of this repertoire. The Folia participates in the musical life of its members, forming an intense network of interaction, in which different aspects of life are interwoven, forming thoughts and actions.
