Abstract

This paper analizes critically the draft text of an International Regime on Acess and Benefit-Sharing (IRABS) which has been created in the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) scope. This analysis is done enphasizing the aspects related to intellectual property rights. First is done an historical review of the regime creation procedure, after analysed the main concepts which are biodiversity, biopiracy and intellectual property and so described and analysed the IRABS expressions use, objective, scope and main components.
