Simulation, as a teaching, tool has been used by several areas of expertise. Radiology teaching, in particular, has applied simulation mainly for interventional techniques learning. Nonetheless, there is a growing demand to expand simulation to diagnostic radiology learning once its application represents a higher safety for patients by all meanings. This review presents the main actual applications of simulation technique for Radiology learning and discusses possible new applications.
