Abstract

Introduction: The interdisciplinary work involves creativity, originality and flexibility before the several ways of thinking the problems and their solutions. The purpose of this work is neither the devaluation nor the negation of the specialties,but it seeks to overcome the fragmentation of knowledge, recognizing and respecting the specificities of each professional area. Objective: Understanding the process of interdisciplinary work over educative actions. Methodology: qualitative research made in Penaforte-CE in a program aimed at pregnant women. Seven health professionals were the informants of the research, the data was collected through an interview being organized from the analysis technique contend. Results: It showed up that the professionals working in the program have deeply knowledge about the concept of what mean an interdisciplinary working process, but also view health education as a learning process. However, infrastructure and lack of material resources, are the reason for the difficulty of the implement these actions. Conclusions: It makes necessary that the interdisciplinary actions continue to solidify the program activities through of health actions, considering that there is stil much to be done in order to improve the care with pregnant women, since that the effectiveness of work depends on the relationship among professionals health, pregnant women and the program management.
