Abstract

Through the case history of a participant of a psychodynamic of work study that was conducted in Québec, this article discuss the links between work organization and mental health. The importance of recognition as an important determinant on the workers identity is also developed. Lastly, the case history enlightens how an organization can place a worker in an ethical dilemma that forces them to choose between working well or the rules an politics of the workplace.
