Abstract

This work tries to describe historical aspects related to the thirty-year existence of the Department of Occupational Therapy at PUC-Campinas and its contribution to the formation of occupational therapists. It is based on the perception of recalling events during this period with primary focus on personal and group recollections of teachers. Documents, publications of scientific works were the sources used of data that permitted the reconstruction of significant aspects of the trajectory of the course since its creation and up to its actual institutional challenges.
