Abstract

The current mental health policy has as structural axis the construction of municipal networks of services. In this context, the construction of innovative therapeutic projects is central to the development of care that attempts to overcome the asylum model. This paper forms the theoretical study of the research "The Construction of Therapeutic Projects in the Field of Mental Health: notes about the new technologies of care", which attempts to comprehend and discuss the current strategies of care developed by professionals committed to the process of change in dialogue with the authors of this field. The aspects that include the reflection on the configuration and boundaries of biomedical paradigm; the question of citizenship as condition of the new care model and the process of health work as an enabler of intended changes by the mental health field are discussed.
