Introduction: The Occupational Therapist (OT) is a professional trained to assess and intervene with elderly people with mild neurocognitive disorder (MND) in order to promote maintenance or improvement in cognitive and functional performance, reducing the impact of cognitive decline in daily activities and social participation Objectives: To learn about OT interventions with elderly people with MND. Method: Integrative bibliographic review in the databases: PubMed, Scielo, AgeLine, Cinahl, Scopus and Web of Science and in OT journals not indexed in these databases, from January 2016 to June 2021, in English and Portuguese, using the descriptors: occupational therapy, aged and mild cognitive impairment combined with the boolean AND operator. Results: 10 articles were selected, most published in 2020, only 1 national, half configured as quasi-experimental. The instruments for evaluating interventions focused on cognitive performance, functionality and depressive symptoms. In most studies, a group approach was carried out and focused on cognitive stimulation. The minority turned to guidance on functional strategies focused on activities of daily living, artistic experiences and physical activity. Conclusion: It was noted that occupational therapeutic intervention generates benefits for the elderly. More studies are needed, mainly national ones, to encourage this practice.
