Reflections on the worker’s body at the thought of the French philosopher Simone Weil

This article presents the redefi nition of work for men proposed by Simone Weil. For this, will beanalyzed the meanings attached to the body of work by this French philosopher, as well as the different characteristics of the body in alienated labor and free labor. It is concluded that the worker’s body exceeds the physical dimension and includes a spiritual dimension.
