Examines the processes of interaction between church and religious believers from the blog of Bishop Edir Macedo, leader of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG). Through the interactional possibilities of the so-called web 2.0, it allows religious internet users to participate this digital platform, offering them the opportunity to express their religiosity in multimedia character. From the general systems theory and the contributions of Niklas Luhmann, the functioning of the interactions of opening and closing operating that occur in the blog are analyzed. Among the results, we understand the existence of new forms of relations between religion and believers.
