Author Biography

  • Berta Waldman
The author of a pioneering study on Dalton Trevisan, published in the early 1980s, Berta Waldman has been one of the first Brazilian interpreters to face an outsider in every sense. Her reflections are being collected now in the volume Ensaios sobre a obra de dalton trevisan (Essays on Dalton Trevisan’s work), to be launched this year, including unpublished texts. But her work also contemplates other important figures of the marginal poetics, as Nelson Rodrigues and Samuel Rawet, and she has also dedicated crucial works to Clarice Lispector
