Abstract

The article evaluates the poetry written by women in Todos os sonhos – Antologia da Poesia Moderna Angolana (All dreams: Angolan modern anthology), published in 2007, focusing on the resources of textual production with which females configurate meaningful aspects that express the ways they feel as women. Keeping such intention in mind, the text discusses the way women poets write poetry in a search of expression that privileges their bodies and the manifestation of their deepest feelings. The article is also interested in viewing women poetry as a manifestation of new poetical trends which characterize the various historical trails of Angolan poetry in the postindependence period.
