In the context of literary art, the short story by Angolan Ondjaki (2007), "Nós choramos pelo Cão-Tinhoso”, in dialogue with the narrative of the Mozambican Honwana (2017), “We killed Cão Tinhoso!”, it materializes as a privileged place for ethical, aesthetic and political affirmation of other ways of being, from the creation of breaches capable of subverting elements that make up colonial logics. Based on Maldonado -Torres’ reflections (2018) on art as one of the central exercises for creation of possibilities of liberation, this article intends to analyze how forms of re-existence can be represented in literature produced in contexts that aim to overcome the colonial logic.
