Monteiro Lobato, Lygia Bojunga, Self-referentialityAbstract
The self-referential feature of Lygia Bojunga and Monteiro Lobato poetics, focus on the discourse of the authors, often diluted in the speech of the characters, on literature and fiction. Through intertextuality and metalanguage, the characters are fully aware that they exist only at the level of words, that is, in the fictional world created by the author. The study, based on the contemporary textual criticism demonstrates that Lobato and Bojunga are close, especially due to building a language that turns back to itself, which generates reflection on the construction of the literary art and establishes meanings.Downloads
