This paper aims at discussing metapoetical constructions in the book Margem de Manobra by Cláudia Roquette-Pinto. Through the diverse representations of the word ‘body’, the poet builds a network of meanings, which comprehend the body of the poet, who enunciates, the body of the world, which is subject matter to poetry, the body of another person and its sensuality. All these bodies converge upon the body of the poem that recovers classic concepts of the poetic process writing, problematizing them and trying to find a place in the contemporary Brazilian literature scenario.
