Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the published contents on the humorous website Sensationalista, in order to understand how much of this content relates to politics in the strict sense. Based on a discussion on the accuracy and objectivity of journalism, a content analysis was carried out on the collected posts. Our goal was to identify which were the humorous contents on politics that generated more engagement in among Facebook users. While the amount of the contents on politics presented in the sample do not seem initially to be of expressiveness, these contents are among those that generate greater interest amongst the website users.
