Abstract

The present essay focuses on poetic aspects of everyday life images presented in the films O palhaço (Selton Mello, Brasil, 2011) and Somewhere (Sofia Coppola, USA, 2010). It explores issues of the established places, roles and positions settled in the course of quotidian ordinary social relationships while considering the emergency and settlement of a subjective imaginary topological dimension characterized as dis-place.
